Cali Swank
Community Manager
Originally from a small town in northeast Connecticut and born in Hawaii, Cali Swank brings over six years of experience at College Town Communities to her role as Community Manager at Campus Heights and Schoolhouse Lofts. After starting as an Assistant Property Manager, Cali was promoted to Property Manager in 2018, showcasing her dedication and expertise.
Cali’s favorite part of her job is move-in day, when she gets to see the excitement of both new and returning students. After a busy day, she enjoys relaxing on her deck, surrounded by woods, with a fire burning. Cali is also the proud owner of an English bulldog named Lucille, who is full of energy. Guided by the advice, “Take your time and do it right the first time,” Cali brings passion and precision to everything she does.
Katie Marshall
Community Manager
Born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Katie Marshall brings seven years of experience in the mental health field to her role as Community Manager at Campus Heights and Schoolhouse Lofts. Passionate about supporting residents and guarantors, Katie applies her background to ensure everyone feels heard, valued, and supported.
Katie admires the pride and care that College Town Communities invests in serving residents and continuously improving. In her downtime, she enjoys sitting outside with friends and family or immersing herself in a good book. A proud plant mom, Katie believes there’s no such thing as having too many plants. Guided by the philosophy, “When all else feels uncertain, being your true authentic self is a skill only you can bring to the table,” Katie fosters a welcoming and inclusive community for everyone.
Jeff Singer
Maintenance Technician
Jeff Singer is a seasoned Maintenance Technician at Campus Heights and Schoolhouse Lofts. A native of Harrisburg, PA, Jeff began his career at the age of 20, with a background in electricity, apartment, and motel maintenance. With 40 years of experience, he has become a true "jack of all trades" in the field.
Jeff enjoys living in a log cabin he built with his wife and spends his free time deer and turkey hunting. He is also proud of having learned to use a computer, which has broadened his skill set over the years.
Known for his versatility and wealth of knowledge, Jeff is driven by the satisfaction of solving complex maintenance challenges and continuously expanding his expertise.
Mike Wilkins
Maintenance Technician
Originally from Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, Mike Wilkins brings over a decade of experience in property cleaning to his role as Maintenance Technician at Campus Heights and Schoolhouse Lofts. Known for his dedication and expertise, Mike takes pride in tackling tough stains that no one else can remove, using his own trade secrets.
Mike enjoys the collaborative atmosphere at College Town Communities and values the opportunity to assist maintenance technicians, learning new skills along the way. In his free time, he loves hunting and fishing, appreciating the serenity of nature and the connection to natural food sources. With a strong work ethic and a supportive team, Mike looks forward to a long and fulfilling career with CTC.
Talan Uselton
Maintenance Technician
Talan Uselton is a Maintenance Technician at Campus Heights and Schoolhouse Lofts. Originally from Middletown, PA, Talan brings 7 years of experience in landscaping and hardscaping to his role. Although he is new to maintenance, his passion for hands-on work and problem-solving makes him a great fit for the team.
Talan enjoys relieving stress by working on his truck and is always eager to learn new skills, especially in servicing commercial appliances and fixing various equipment. Outside of work, he loves hardscaping and concrete work.
When asked what inspires him, Talan says it's the opportunity to continuously learn and expand his skill set. His ideal goal is to always be able to fix more things and tackle new challenges.
Tyler
Senior Community Assistant
Originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania, Tyler brings a unique blend of creativity and craftsmanship to his role as Senior Community Assistant at Campus Heights and Schoolhouse Lofts. With three years of experience in graphic design and seven years in carpentry, Tyler thrives in an environment where he can meet new people and help solve their challenges.
In his free time, Tyler enjoys racing and graphic design, both of which help him unwind. Guided by the philosophy “There is no losing, only learning,” he approaches life with positivity and determination. Tyler’s passion for creating solutions and fostering connections makes him a valuable part of the College Town Communities team.
Josh
Senior Community Assistant
Originally from Rockville, Maryland, Josh brings a versatile background to his role as Senior Community Assistant at Campus Heights and Schoolhouse Lofts. With experience working at the U.S. Capitol, five years in a church's technical department, and three years as a camp counselor, Josh excels at building relationships and connecting with people. He enjoys meeting new residents and getting to know them, which aligns perfectly with the community-focused culture of College Town Communities.
In his downtime, Josh finds stress relief through sports, especially basketball. His guiding principle, “Don’t let fear and doubts control your life,” inspires his positive and fearless approach to work and life. Josh’s diverse experience and passion for people make him an integral part of the team.
Golden
Community Assistant
Originally from Bladensburg, Maryland, Golden brings dedication and compassion to his role as a Community Assistant at Campus Heights and Schoolhouse Lofts. With six years of volunteer experience and two years working at Dunkin' Donuts, Golden is committed to helping students feel less stressed and more at ease in their living environment.
Golden draws inspiration from his late father, whose memory motivates him to achieve his dreams. He admires LeBron James and would love to learn more about the history and work ethic behind his success. Guided by the belief that “You either succeed or you learn, but unless you give up, there is no such thing as failure,” Golden approaches his work with perseverance and positivity.
Emily
Community Assistant
Originally from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Emily brings customer service and office experience to her role as a Community Assistant at Campus Heights and Schoolhouse Lofts. With 2.5 years in retail and 1.5 years in an office position at Advantage Lifts, Emily values the welcoming, family-like environment at College Town Communities and enjoys meeting new faces every day.
Emily’s biggest inspiration is her family, and she shares her life with her dog, B, and three cows named Slash, Dash, and Dip. A fan of country music, she would love to meet Luke Combs to learn more about the artist behind her favorite songs. Emily’s warm personality and dedication to creating a sense of community make her an essential part of the team.
Elijah
Community Assistant
Originally from New Jersey, Elijah brings a wealth of experience in people-focused roles to his position as a Community Assistant at Campus Heights and Schoolhouse Lofts. From working in homelessness prevention to supporting students with disabilities, Elijah has developed strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others. He values the supportive coworkers and positive work environment at College Town Communities.
Elijah finds stress relief through listening to music and is inspired by seeing smiles on people’s faces. Known for being responsible, a leader, and dependable, Elijah strives to make a meaningful impact in his role every day.
Jorge
Community Assistant
Jorge is from Pottstown, Pennsylvania, and has been working since he was 13. From landscaping and snow shoveling to scooping ice cream and working at Chick-Fil-A, his range of experience shows his strong work ethic and adaptability. Now part of the College Town Communities team, Jorge appreciates the opportunity and pay that come with the role.
In his downtime, he enjoys basketball and drawing. He’s inspired by the idea of financial stability and self-growth, with dreams of one day learning stunt driving and mastering the kitchen.
Jorge lives by quotes like, “If you only do what you can do, you will never be more than who you are,” and finds meaning in living in the present.
Described as busy, aloof, and a renegade, he brings humor and energy to any team. A wild fact about him? He was once clinically dead for a minute and came back stronger.
